Clarify technical requirements<\/strong><\/h4><p data-start=\"937\" data-end=\"1074\">A charging station is not a household appliance &#8211; it requires its own fused cable and must match the charging capacity of the vehicle.<\/p><p data-start=\"1076\" data-end=\"1096\"><strong data-start=\"1076\" data-end=\"1096\">Important points:<\/strong><\/p><ul data-start=\"1098\" data-end=\"1346\"><li data-start=\"1098\" data-end=\"1145\"><p data-start=\"1100\" data-end=\"1145\">&#8211; Check vehicle and plug type (usually type 2)<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"1146\" data-end=\"1204\"><p data-start=\"1148\" data-end=\"1204\">&#8211; Define the required charging power (e.g. 11 kW vs. 22 kW)<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"1205\" data-end=\"1261\"><p data-start=\"1207\" data-end=\"1261\">&#8211; Separate circuit &amp; sufficient cable cross-section<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"1262\" data-end=\"1346\"><p data-start=\"1264\" data-end=\"1346\">&#8211; Intermediate meter for consumption separation if necessary (e.g. for rental or company cars)<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"1348\" data-end=\"1488\"><strong>Tip<\/strong>: Even if only one vehicle is being charged today &#8211; plan the connection so that additional charging points can be added later.<\/p><h4 data-start=\"1495\" data-end=\"1541\"><strong>2. Check grid connection &amp; power limits<\/strong><\/h4><p data-start=\"1543\" data-end=\"1701\">Whether a single-family home, underground parking garage or commercial location: the available connected load determines whether and how many charging points can be operated immediately.<\/p><ul><li data-start=\"1705\" data-end=\"1753\">&#8211; Registration with the grid operator is mandatory<\/li><li data-start=\"1756\" data-end=\"1808\">&#8211; for \u2265 12 kW charging power: approval required<\/li><li data-start=\"1811\" data-end=\"1865\">&#8211; Load management can avoid expensive grid expansion costs<\/li><li data-start=\"1811\" data-end=\"1865\"> <\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"1867\" data-end=\"1955\">More about energy management: <a href=\"https:\/\/reev.com\/en\/products-services\/reev-energy-management\/\">here<\/a><\/p><h4 data-start=\"1962\" data-end=\"2003\"><strong>3. Structural requirements &amp; installation<\/strong><\/h4><p data-start=\"2005\" data-end=\"2057\">Depending on the location, further work may be necessary:<\/p><ul><li data-start=\"2061\" data-end=\"2088\">&#8211; Wall mounting or stand<\/li><li data-start=\"2091\" data-end=\"2126\">&#8211; Cable routes \/ breakthroughs \/ civil engineering<\/li><li data-start=\"2129\" data-end=\"2168\">&#8211; Weather protection &amp; theft protection<\/li><li data-start=\"2171\" data-end=\"2219\">&#8211; Sufficient space for future expansion<\/li><\/ul><h4 data-start=\"2226\" data-end=\"2252\"><strong>4. Safety &amp; standards<\/strong><\/h4><p data-start=\"2254\" data-end=\"2385\">A charging station may only be installed by qualified electricians (DIN VDE 0100-722 \/ DIN VDE 1000-10).<\/p><p data-start=\"2387\" data-end=\"2397\">To be checked:<\/p><ul><li data-start=\"2401\" data-end=\"2440\">&#8211; RCD (RCD type A EV or B)<\/li><li data-start=\"2443\" data-end=\"2465\">&#8211; Circuit breaker<\/li><li data-start=\"2468\" data-end=\"2501\">&#8211; Overload and overvoltage protection<\/li><li data-start=\"2504\" data-end=\"2545\">&#8211; User approval (e.g. RFID, app, backend)<\/li><\/ul><h4 data-start=\"2552\" data-end=\"2593\"><strong>5.
