Inleiding: De toenemende behoefte aan laadinfrastructuur voor zware elektrische voertuigen in de EU<\/span><\/strong><\/h4><p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">De Europese sector voor zwaar vrachtvervoer ondergaat een snelle transformatie als gevolg van ambitieuze EU-regelgeving op het gebied van emissiereductie. Volgens het Europees Milieuagentschap (EEA) waren zware vrachtwagens (HDV&#8217;s) in 2021 verantwoordelijk voor 27 % van de totale CO\u2082-uitstoot van het wegverkeer in de EU, hoewel ze slechts 2 % van het wagenpark op de weg uitmaken (EEA, 2022). <\/span><\/p> <p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">Om dit tegen te gaan heeft de Europese Commissie nieuwe CO\u2082-emissienormen ingevoerd, die een vermindering van de uitstoot van nieuwe vrachtwagens en bussen met 90% tegen 2040 voorschrijven (EC, 2023). De overgang naar elektrische zware bedrijfsvoertuigen is cruciaal voor het behalen van deze doelstellingen. De EU voorspelt dat tegen 2030 ten minste 50 % van de nieuw verkochte vrachtwagens elektrisch zal zijn (ACEA, 2023). De snelle elektrificatie van deze sector brengt echter aanzienlijke uitdagingen met zich mee op het gebied van netintegratie en regelgeving.
