Simple payment – without any detours
The ev-pay enables ad-hoc charging processes by bank card directly at the charging point terminal – as easy as at a petrol station. They meet all the requirements of the EU’s AFIR regulation, which stipulates, among other things, that new public fast-charging points from 50 kW must have card readers and that existing charging points from 50 kW must retrofit them by 2027. Thanks to the integration with the reev Platform, operators of charging infrastructure can now use the system in a fully connected and standardized way – and expand both new and existing infrastructure.
“By integrating ev-pay, we are making the charging experience even more user-friendly and focusing even more on the needs of our users. At the same time, we enable our partners to operate their charging infrastructure in a regulatory future-proof and economically efficient manner.”
– Philip Kreis, Product Manager Payment & Billing at reev
“reev and ev-pay pursue the same goal: charging infrastructure must not only be technically reliable, but also economically viable and user-friendly. The integration of our solution into the reev platform is therefore more than just a technical add-on – it represents a shared system concept that gives CPOs long-term flexibility and full control over their charging offers.”
– Dominik Freund, Founder & Chief Commercial Officer at ev-pay

Expansion of the payment portfolio
With the connection of ev-pay, reev is specifically expanding its own payment portfolio for the reev energy and charging platform.
