Three packed days at Power2Drive Europe 2026 are behind us. It is time to look back at the conversations, product highlights and partnerships that shaped this year’s event at Messe München.
The energy and momentum at Messe München confirmed what we already believe: the future of connected energy and charging infrastructure is not a distant ambition. It is already taking shape – through integrated energy and charging solutions, PV-optimised charging and new reev ready hardware. The discussions at our booth showed how closely energy management and charging infrastructure are already connected in practice.
From the beginning of day one, customers, partners, electrical professionals and industry experts joined us at our booth in Hall B6 to discuss the next steps for connected energy and charging infrastructure.
One of the highlights of the week was the announcement of our new technology partnership with Easee.
Easee charging stations will soon be available as reev ready in Germany and Austria – pre-configured for use with reev directly at the factory and ready for fast commissioning.
For electrical professionals and wholesalers, this means less configuration work on site, a lower risk of installation errors and greater planning certainty.
Together with Easee, we want to make connected energy and charging infrastructure easier to plan, install and scale. The new partnership is an important step towards expanding the range of hardware options within the reev ready ecosystem.
We ended the first day with Recharge & Relax. Customers, partners, new contacts and the reev team came together over drinks and snacks for informal conversations away from the busy exhibition floor.
Across all three days, three topics were at the centre of many discussions at our booth.
reev Living is our solution for intelligent charging in apartment buildings and residential properties. It connects charging infrastructure, energy management and building requirements in one scalable system. This allows electrical professionals to implement residential charging projects efficiently without having to take on the role of operator themselves.
PV-optimised charging connects locally generated solar energy with charging processes at the site. This allows operators to use a greater share of their self-generated electricity and adapt charging more closely to the energy available. This is becoming increasingly important as charging infrastructure and energy systems continue to converge.
The partnership with Easee was one of the highlights of Power2Drive, but it is also part of a wider development. By working with a growing number of hardware partners, we are expanding the selection of pre-configured charging solutions available to electrical professionals, wholesalers and operators.
The goal: less configuration work, a wider choice of hardware and greater flexibility when implementing different projects.
Power2Drive is more than a trade fair. It is a moment when the industry takes stock: where things stand, where the market is heading and who the right partners are for the road ahead.
The conversations we had this week reinforced something we hear consistently: businesses and professionals in this space are not looking for another point solution. They need a system that connects charging infrastructure, energy, billing and operations without creating new complexity in the process.
That is what reev is built to do. And events like Power2Drive give us the opportunity to show it, not just say it.
The conversations from Power2Drive do not end with the event. We are already working on turning the exchanges and new connections from Munich into concrete joint projects – with customers, partners and the growing ecosystem we are building across Europe.
