Simple commissioning of charging infrastructure
The new Ready to Charge bundle combines pre-configured business charging stations with a 24-month charge point licence and the operator dashboard developed jointly with reev. The result is a complete solution for the straightforward installation and efficient operation of professional charging infrastructure.
Munich, 25 June 2026 – Electrical wholesaler Sonepar is consistently expanding its charging infrastructure portfolio and integrating hardware, activation and the operator dashboard even more closely. Walther Electric and Mennekes are the first hardware partners at launch. Further manufacturers, including Hager, will follow.
With the Ready to Charge bundle, Sonepar reduces the on-site workload for electrical installers and makes it easier for operators to enter the professional charging infrastructure market.
Once installed, the charging station can be activated simply by scanning a QR code, eliminating the need for additional programming or manual configuration. The backend address and SIM card are already pre-configured, allowing hardware, software and commissioning to work together seamlessly. Individual charge points or entire charging parks can be ready for operation within just a few minutes.
Intelligent integration of software and hardware
The digital foundation of the solution is the operator dashboard developed by Sonepar in cooperation with reev and based on the reev Platform. Operators can centrally manage their charging infrastructure, control user access, organise billing and conveniently manage load distribution via their browser.
The platform also enables the straightforward integration of additional charge points, flexible tariff structures and automated billing – all combined in one clear and intuitive interface.
This provides operators with a predictable and scalable solution that allows charge points to be managed centrally and operated efficiently. The offering is designed for professional applications in companies, fleets, commercial properties, the housing sector, company car schemes and semi-public locations – wherever charging infrastructure needs to be implemented quickly, economically and with minimal commissioning effort.
“With the Ready to Charge bundle, we offer our customers professional charging infrastructure that can be commissioned almost automatically,” says Thomas Hogrefe, Strategic Product Range Manager for Sustainable Energy Systems at Sonepar Germany. “Our system solution reduces project complexity, simplifies operation and creates a predictable economic foundation.”
The Ready to Charge bundle is now available through Sonepar. At launch, it is available with wallbox solutions from the first hardware partners, Walther Electric and Mennekes: the Mennekes AMTRON® 4Business 780 wallbox in 11 kW and 22 kW versions, as well as wallboxes from Walther Electric’s smartEVO duo+ series.
The electrical wholesaler will soon expand the offering to include pre-configured wallboxes from additional manufacturers.
