For five days, this year’s Autumn Edition of the leading international trade fair for lighting and building technology brought together over 92,838 visitors from 147 countries in Frankfurt am Main. With an internationalisation rate of 55%, the majority came from Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, France, Belgium, Austria, Great Britain, Poland and Switzerland. With a visitor satisfaction rate of 95%, 83% of visitors are already planning their next visit to Light+Building in March 2024. In addition to the thematic focus on lighting and building technology, the areas of efficiency and sustainability also played a major role this year. Thus, technologies for regenerative energies and charging management systems for eMobility came increasingly into focus at the leading trade fair – for a sustainable future of mobility and life.

At our joint stand with ABL+reev, there were many great opportunities for intensive exchange and personal discussions with customers and partners from all over the world. In addition to our already established solutions such as the intelligent reev software, we presented our new product reev Connect, which easily and in just a few steps equips the reev software with charging stations from different manufacturers. Moreover, we were able to present two product highlights to the visitors at Light+Building, which were launched on the first day of the fair: ABL reev ready, the new coordinated charging solution from ABL+reev, and the smart network cabinet reev Pulse.
ABL reev ready is the new joint product from ABL+reev that makes it easy to get started with intelligent charging. It combines powerful and pre-configured ABL hardware with the intelligent reev software. The ABL reev ready wallbox is combined with the reev ready licence keys and onboarding is particularly quick and easy.
With reev Pulse, we have developed a new solution that standardises and thus significantly simplifies the installation of large, intelligent charging infrastructures. The centrepiece is a pre-configured network cabinet with all network-side components for uncomplicated installation and commissioning on site. reev Pulse can be individually adapted to any charging infrastructure project.
The reev Pulse network cabinet also includes reev Energy Management. Taking into account the building load, it automatically distributes the available power to the charging cars. In this way, the building’s power supply is ensured and the power is used cost-efficiently.
With reev Connect, existing charging groups from different manufacturers can be easily equipped with the reev software.
In the context of Light + Building 2022, we also once again focused on the importance of the e-trade in the realisation of a nationwide and sustainable charging infrastructure by signing the ZVEH Qualitätsbündnis E-Markenpartnervertrag (E-Marken Partner Agreement of the ZVEH Quality Alliance). Because through jointly achieved synergies, the expansion of electro mobility can be actively shaped and a green future realised.
We are already looking forward to the next Light + Building on 3 to 8 March 2024 with new and exciting topics , innovations and discussion rounds about the future and the development in the areas of electromobility as well as light and building technology.
We look forward to seeing you again at the next Light & Building on 03-08 March 2024!
