Progress that Connects – From Innovation to Internationalisation
The Rise of Electric Mobility
2024 marked a pivotal year for electric mobility. According to the German Federal Motor Transport Authority (KBA), the total number of electric vehicles in Germany exceeded 1.5 million—a major milestone on the journey towards sustainable mobility. The EU Commission took significant steps with the AFIR regulation to accelerate the development of charging infrastructure for electric vehicles, providing a strong foundation for climate-friendly transport.
An Industry Leader with 7,000 B2B Clients
For reev, 2024 was a year of growth and innovation. Together with our partners and clients, we made meaningful progress in making electric mobility more accessible and efficient. With over 7,000 B2B clients across Europe, reev has solidified its position as a leading provider of charging and energy management solutions in the semi-public sector. The year was filled with achievements worth exploring in detail.
Sustainable Success in Numbers
- 116 million kWh of electricity delivered: Nearly double the amount from 2023.
- 662.7 million km driven electrically: Equivalent to over 16,500 trips around the Earth.
- 79.5 million kg of CO₂ saved: Comparable to the emissions of more than 40,000 combustion engine vehicles.
- 49 million litres of fuel saved: Enough to power nearly one million vehicles for a year.
Series A: A Significant Milestone for reev
The successful Series A funding round in May 2024 marked a major milestone for reev. The double-digit million-euro investment provides a strong foundation for further expansion across Europe. Alongside strengthening our market leadership in the DACH region, we are entering new markets such as France and the Benelux countries. The funding also fuels the development of innovative solutions to advance intelligent charging and energy management, actively shaping the transition to sustainable mobility.
New Markets, New Opportunities: Expanding in the Benelux Region
2024 was a year of internationalisation for reev, with significant progress in the Benelux countries to meet the region’s specific needs.
“The Benelux countries have long been leaders in the electrification of mobility. Now, it’s time to enter the next phase: professionalising the software infrastructure that supports this transition,” says Jordi Steenman, Country Manager Benelux.
Dank lokaler Roadshows und Partnerschaften, etwa mit SCE Sàrl in Luxemburg, konnten erste regionale Projekte erfolgreich gestartet werden.
