Charging points at company premises
More and more companies are acting sustainably and giving their employees the opportunity to charge electric cars at company premises or have already converted their entire company fleet to electric cars. The simplest op for charging several vehicles at the same time is a smart charging station with integrated charging and load management. This allows multiple users to be managed and ensures that no peak loads occur due to the even distribution of the charging load for all cars. RFID cards are suitable for making the charging station accessible to all employees and still ensuring that charging and billing data can be transmitted individually for each employee. These cards activate the charging station and are assigned to a specific person or a specific vehicle.
Charging points on private property
It is also possible for private individuals to install a charging point on their own property and share it with other residents or guests. When installing a private charging station in a semi-public area, certain regulations apply and must be observed. To do this, you should first familiarise yourself with the Ladesäulenverordnung (LSV – Charging Station Ordinance) issued by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy. The LSV is intended to accelerate the expansion of the charging station network in Germany and create legal certainty.
